Chamomile – Calm the Mind
Teas, essential oils, calming audio programs. Always consult your medical provider, especially for any allergens.
Tea Recipe – 3 teaspoon of lavender or chamomile, 3 teaspoon lemon balm and 3 teaspoon of honey – steep for about 10 minutes, strain and enjoy.
Meditation tea – 1 tablespoon of each, nettle leaf, rose petal and (about 2 pods) cardamon (aroma) – steep for about 10 minutes strain and enjoy.
Appetite – Nourish the Body
Healthy cookbooks, plant-based nutrition guides, blenders. Always consult your medical provider especially for any allergens.
At my age I have found that mixing certain fruits and vegetables helps keep me stronger and energetic. For example, I mix in a blender some garlic, ginger, beets, spinach with mango, pineapple (either juice or fresh) or even oranges to taste.
When I cook, I use a lot of turmeric, garlic, ginger, cumin and oregano for seasoning and some sea salt.
Lavender – Soothe the Senses
Aromatherapy kits, diffusers, skincare. Always consult your medical provider.

Meditation – Clear the Mind
Guided meditation apps, or youtube are helpful. I practice a form of mixed meditation Tai-Chi and Bojutsu. It is very therapeutic. But you can implement any style or forms.
Example: “Daily 10-minute meditations that help you stay centered. Or walking for a few minutes per day.”
Sun – Recharge Your Spirit
The sun is something we need, it helps the body produce vitamin D, important for bone health. Sun can also help with mood (bright exposure) raising serotonin levels. Always consult your medical provider. UV rays can be harmful, be mindful of too much exposure leading to heat stroke.
I have also found that music therapy is very helpful, certain sounds have certain meanings and each person has a tone that creates energy for them, find you niche and see what songs or type of sounds you enjoy.
