4 cups of sugar
Instructions:

Combine slices and water in a pot. Bring to a boil, then simmer 45 minutes until peel softens.
Add sugar, stir until dissolved, and boil again for 20–30 minutes until it reaches a gel stage (220°F / 104°C). *Pour into a sterilized jar and seal.
